A prayer for repentance is one of the most important prayers in Christianity. A soul that did not repent and change from evil ways will not make heaven. The pursuit of every Christian is to make heaven at last. You can not make heaven without genuine repentance.
Repentance means to turn away from sin and evil ways, then accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior.
The Bible says in Proverbs 28:13, “He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.” Genuine repentance starts by confessing and forsaking your sins, as written in the Holy Book.
When you repent and receive Jesus Christ, your life will never remain the same again. I am a witness to that. The devil uses sin to separate us from God, our heavenly Father, who created everything because he knows what will be our benefit from God.
The Bible made it clear in John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Accept Jesus Christ today, repent, and live a holy life.

A Prayer For Repentance
OH Lord, my heavenly Father, I honor and worship thee. You are the maker of the Heavens and Earth. The Earth and everything in it belong to you. Be thou glorified.
Lord, I have sinned and come short of your glory in my life. Mighty Father, I confess my sins today and accept Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior.
I believe Jesus Christ died on the cross of Calvary for my sins to get washed away by His blood. I confess sins, forsake my evil ways and return to you as your child.
Lord, let your mercy and the power of the Holy Spirit rest upon me so that I will not return to my evil ways. I come to you today and reject the works of the devil. Accept me, Lord, into your Kingdom and fill me with your Holy Spirit. Thank you, Jesus Christ, for saving my soul. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
